Our office in Mountain Home, ID features a complete digital workflow, including 3D imaging, same-day crown milling, digital scanning, in-office 3D printing, and photogrammetry for ultra-accurate implant placement. Every piece of technology we use serves one purpose: making your care faster, safer, and more comfortable. 

You’ll notice the difference from your very first appointment. Instead of messy impressions, we use a digital intraoral scanner to capture detailed 3D images of your mouth in minutes. If you need a crown, our CEREC milling system can design and create it in a single visit. For implant patients, our CBCT scanner provides a full 3D view of your teeth, jawbone, nerves, and airway, giving us the detailed information we need to plan your treatment with confidence. Everything works together seamlessly so you get exceptional care without unnecessary delays or extra appointments.

CBCT, Acteon Optima

Our brand-new CBCT scanner captures a full 3D view of your teeth, jawbone, nerves, and airway in just 10 to 20 seconds. Using less radiation than a conventional CT scan, it provides the precise detail we need to plan implants, extractions, and orthodontic treatment with accuracy and confidence.

SprintRay 3D Printer

Our in-office 3D printer creates dental models, surgical guides, and even minimal prep porcelain veneers (thin porcelain coverings) right here in our practice. Using high-precision resin technology, it produces accurate results with fast turnaround, keeping your treatment moving without delays or outside lab wait times.

CEREC Crown Milling Unit

This chairside milling system lets us design and create ceramic or zirconia crowns in a single appointment. After a quick digital scan, your crown is milled in about 10 to 15 minutes, then stained, glazed, and placed the same day. No temporary crowns, no second visit.

Shining 3D Aoralscan, Intraoral Scanner

Our digital intraoral scanner replaces messy putty impressions with a fast, comfortable 3D scan of your mouth. It captures clinical-grade detail for crowns, dental implants (permanent tooth replacements), bridges, and aligner workflows. You’ll see real-time images on screen while we scan, making the process quick and easy.

Photogrammetry System

For full arch implant cases like All-on-X, our photogrammetry system captures the exact 3D position of each implant with accuracy down to 5 to 10 microns. This level of precision ensures your final restoration fits perfectly, eliminating distortion and delivering results you can count on.

Dandy Digital Lab

Our partnership with Dandy gives us access to a fully digital dental lab for crowns, bridges, veneers, and dentures (removable tooth replacements). For denture patients specifically, this digital workflow can deliver beautiful, well-fitting results in as few as two visits with no physical impressions required.

Dr. Steven Gigli

DDS

Dr. Steven Gigli earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Idaho State University in Meridian. During his residency, he fell in love with Idaho and met his wife Jill, a proud Idaho native who made staying an easy choice.

With advanced training from the Texas Implant Institute and Full Arch Club, Dr. Gigli has placed over 400 dental implants and completed more than 50 full arch restorations. His passion for digital dentistry and life-changing implant care drove him to build The Dome Dentistry & Implants, a practice where every patient receives the time and attention they truly deserve.

Dr. Gigli is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Idaho State Dental Association, and High Desert Sage Study Club. Outside the office, he and Jill recently welcomed their first baby girl. Their two dogs, Chapman and Belle, keep life wonderfully full. You’ll find him snowboarding, dirt biking, camping, or cheering on the Chargers.
